In the video Splace (space, place) topics such as identity, adherence to and superimpositions of infinite urban spaces are exemplified by Tokyo. Communication, media, architecture, movement, language, and noises of the city form dialogical spaces demonstrating moments of a city and its inhabitants that seem to orientate themselves exclusively to the present.

Splace deals with built and individually projected spaces, and of media spaces between all of which permeate the urban fabric. Parallel to the visual level there is an autonomous audiolevel where single sections of talks and discourses with architects and cityinhabitants are interwoven. They express varied reflections in three languages (Japanese, English, German) that correspond with flowing pictures of the city and its architecture.
